Ateet is a recognized veteran DJ since 1996. Born and raised in the DC Metro Area, he’s built a strong following of customers all over the east coast from New York to Florida that hire him for his ability to make wedding events more than an entertaining night but an event that leaves you with memories to cherish for years.
Ateet specializes in International and mixed weddings and works with diverse people of South Asian(Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi), Persian, Arabic, and Latin background to bring the sounds of bhangra, bollywood, latin, and reggae to your unique event. Even though he’s dj’d over 1,000 weddings in his past 12 years of experience, he’s learned that each wedding event is as exceptional and special as the couple is. That’s why he’ll give the bride and groom a personal consultation that touches on every aspect from the rehearsal, cocktail hour, sangeet, wedding, and the reception to turn their vision into a beautiful memory. He will create a customized playlist as well as a “do not” playlist for the evening that fits with the tastes and ambience the couple wants and work with his extensive network of fantastic singers, Bollywood/Bhangra/Belly dancers, and Dhol players to kick off your event into an unforgettable night of fun and excitement.
Ateet’s exceptional professionalism and passion for music shines through at every single one of his events. He’s fully licensed and insured as well as a member of the American Disc Jockey Association showing his commitment for providing quality entertainment and services. He has sold over 1200 copies of his CD, “Badd Boy Bhangra”, since its release this winter; a huge crowd pleaser that is a compilation of the best bhangra remixes he’s created himself and is currently working on his next CD. His passion for music also extends to dance and he’s won several national Bhangra dance competitions most notably Bhangra Blowout in Washington DC and Bhangra Fusion in Michigan. If you want to learn a few Bhangra, Salsa, Merengue or Bachata moves, Ateet is more than happy to show you some instructional dance steps that will compliment your selection of music.
This is your event and this experienced, professional DJ can make it one to be remembered that stands out above the rest! Whatever your special day needs, Ateet looks forward to meeting and entertaining you.
DJ Viper, had entertained for many events in his tenure at Planet DJ Productions, leaving lasting memories with many couples and clients alike. As one of most instrumental people in the company, he handled logistics, client meetings, events, and truly took to heart all the events he did as if they were his own. The company felt a huge loss when he passed away, but his energy, drive, dreams and ambition still live on in the company and in each of us.
Everyone at Planet DJ Productions will make it a mission to complete his dreams and grow the company to the depths that he saw and knew it would get to.
DJ Viper was one of our youngest and most talented DJ’s. He had been DJing for 5 years starting out DJing and MCing high school parties and dances and quickly moving through the ranks to do weddings, corporate events, bar and bat mitzvahs and the occasional club appearance.
DJ Viper’s youthful approach to the industry brought the energy and atmosphere that your event deserved and his experience helped keep him cool in a clutch.

It takes a special kind of person to be an MC and Party Motivator. It takes energy. It takes enthusiasm. It takes a sense of humor. And it takes guts. There’s no doubt, then, why Kabir is the king of party motivation and a valued member of the Planet DJ Productions team.
Kabir’s background is impressive. He’s a stand-up comedian who’s a regular at the DC Improv. He’s a bona fide Hollywood actor. And, if that wasn’t enough, Kabir is a phenomenal Bhangra dancer and instructor and talented singer (both American and Hindi songs). A true MC and Party Motivator is a master of all trades.
Kabir embodies what it means to be all-in-one entertainment.
Energy. Passion. Magnetism. These are the traits that make up an Event MC, and they’re the perfect words to describe MC Paul, one of the newest members to our team.
To the Planet DJ crew, MC Paul is a bit like Superman: By day he embodies Clark Kent in his role as a pharmacist. But when the party lights shine and the music is blasting, our resident superhero tears off his tie and reaches for the mic, all on the quest to make your event one of a kind. Whether it’s adding flavor to speeches or showing off his dance moves to motivate others, MC Paul is committed to guaranteeing your guests will have the time of their lives.
If you’re looking for that traditional touch to your baraat or reception, then our resident dhol player, Jasmeet, has what you need. Jasmeet is beyond a mesmerizing dhol player (he is that, of course). He’s also capable of MCing the baraat while playing, including incorporating games, teaching dance moves, calling on family members and more.
He loves to raise the energy level and enthusiasm of the room to a new level. He loves incorporating both American and Indian music and works closely with you to determine the music that best fits your vision.
Ram is a valued member of our team. His energy and professionalism are matched by his pure talent as a dhol player. He’s known to create music that drives a party and gets everyone moving.
He combines the traditionalism of your baraat or reception with the modernism of today’s lively dhol players. He’s skilled at playing to both American and Indian music and consults with you to ensure he captures the mood you’re hoping for.
