Wedding Ceremony and Reception at Harbour View in Woodbridge, Virginia
We used Ateet and Planet DJ Productions for our wedding ceremony and reception. and we cannot say enough good things about them! From our first meeting with Ateet, he was throwing all kinds of great suggestions our way. They were on point with all of our required tracks and timing for entrances. The equipment they use is top of the line and the sound quality throughout was excellent.
We hired a Party Motivator (or, MC if you will) through Planet DJ Productions as well. His name is Kabir and he is awesome! He had our party rocking from start to finish, was very accommodating with last minute schedule changes and requests, and added a great comedic element. All of our guests were ranting and raving about Kabir as our host and we are so glad we went with this option. As for the music selection, it was ON POINT. The DJ and Kabir had a perfect mix of classic indian (for the older crowd), contemporary indian/bollywood, and american top 40. They also played a good contingent of songs we pre-selected to play, and I am so happy to say that we got a solid 30 minutes of 90s hip hop in to close the party as well. Their execution was so solid, they even had my 90-year old grandparents on the dance floor!
Once you book Planet DJ Productions, the process is so simple. They set you up in their online system where you pick and choose music, fill out a timeline, and enter all the information for your event down to the tiniest of details. Minimal prep, minimal discussion. Just show up and they execute it to perfection.
We also used them for our photobooth and it was a huge hit at our wedding. I’ve been to weddings before with photobooths that have only a few props and very poor lighting. Ateet’s photobooth was the opposite. Tons of props and the lighting was awesome. All the pictures came out great and we can’t wait to see our photobook (included with the booking!).
